Business Analyst (Digital Technology team)

The Role

Carrier Corporation is a leading provider of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, building controls and automation, and fire and security systems leading to safer, smarter, sustainable and high-performance buildings.

As part of Carrier Digital transformation, we are looking for a dynamic individual to work in the Finance technology team within the Digital organization. The individual will be part of digital initiatives supporting Finance function and act as a techno-functional lead for Finance systems, with a hands-on style in partnership with various teams. The individual should have experience in Finance business processes and platforms, with implementations across multiple teams in a large multinational corporation or in other complex environments.

Primary Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the Digital Technology team participating and supporting Finance digital projects, acting as liaison between corporate and business unit teams and third parties, to orchestrate digital projects that enable the Finance organization.
Act as the technical product manager for Finance solutions with the objective of executing projects to meet the required standard of quality, ensuring business success and managing stakeholder expectations.
Partner with our software and service suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high quality, cost effective solutions and support ongoing operations to ensure enterprise applications are performing as expected and meeting business requirements.
Provide expert level configuration and functional knowledge in designing Finance solutions
Manage Application Management Support as a Lead in Incidents, Change Requests and Service Requests in treasury.
Conducts and participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
Demonstrate creative 'out of the box' thinking to solve difficult problems and champion new technologies to achieve project goals.
Independently responsible for technology within his/her area of expertise on multiple projects. Demonstrate mastery across a wide range of technologies and platforms related to software design and development.

The Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field with 8+ years of experience.
Strong experience in SAP Finance with large global enterprises, spanning blueprinting, configuration and testing of core Finance modules including Enterprise Structure, Master Data, Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA), Controlling (PCA, CCA, CO-PA), FSCM, RAR etc.

5+ years of configuration/implementation experience in SAP Financials (minimum 2 -3 years in S/4HANA Finance), as well as an excellent finance background.
Minimum 3-5 full life cycle global implementations (prior experience defining/implementing worldwide solutions across multiple legal entities in a highly complex systems and project environment) including hands-on design and configuration.
Experience with S4 HANA Reporting tools like APF, Query Designer, AO etc. is a plus.
Experience with S4 HANA Central Finance is required.
