Job Description and Responsibilities

Material buyer is communicating with suppliers making sure the material is delivered on time, in desired quality and quantity. Role is based in Beroun.

Main Tasks:
Communication and negotiation with the suppliers about the price and quantity.
Keeping SAP material data up to date.
Material purchasing.
Engineering Change Notification processing.

Responsibilities:
Management of materials in SAP (i.e. price updates).
Authorization and dispatch of purchasing orders to suppliers - material, general expenses and investment purchases.
Creation of selected reports in the area of strategic and operative purchasing to CTI (i.e. suppliers turnovers) and financial controlling (i.e. E&O, price forecasting).
Evaluation of suppliers, identification of discrepancies and realization of corrective measures:
- escalation contact delivery delays
- purchase vs. invoice discrepancies management and authorization
- suppliers non-conformities
- HSE (i.e. MSDS, Czech label)
Material resourcing project support (i.e. samples ordering):
- material productivity Schedule A, B, Q administration on monthly basis
General Expenses and Investments management of purchasing requests / purchasing requisites.

The Candidate

Relevant experience in a similar role/production environment (minimum 2 years).
English language on advanced level, French an advantage.
Experience with SAP and Excel.
Strong negotiation skills.
